Part 1: Today, Bill, I must disagree with you. Vehemently. The Tea Party's have done their job. And will continue to administer the bottom-up pressure. What we need now is top-down pressure - on the Republican Party!! We got a nice glimpse into the RNC last week with this BondageGate situation which let us know that we have pretty much the same GOP we had on 11/7/06 and11/4/08 - losers! They have not even tried to reconnect w/the Conservative Base nor have they done anything pro-active since the last election cycle. We need you and PJTV to put top-down pressure on the GOP Hierarchy - now! Whip them into shape in time for 11/2/10. We still have 7 months.
part 2: As it stands now, folks are repulsed by the wicked left, for sure. But when they turn to look at the alternative? Less than enthusiastic. All they see is a gutless, over cautious, non-proactive Republican Party.

Top down pressure isn't going to work, in fact I doubt that Mr. Whittle or anyone else has any real pull in the GOP.
The solution is to expand Mr. Whittle's idea: We need to fight two battles a year, first in the primary election, second in the general. Find the most conservative person running on the GOP ticket (nobody else has a chance) and support them. Can't find someone you like? Sign up.
On top of that we need to change minds. We need to be engaging our opponents and the general population and telling, no showing, them how dangerous and unsustainable this growing leviathan, the state, is. If we can't change minds we deserve to lose.

didn't . Stood right up to you. You can't tell ME what to do!
So instead of blindly following your instructions....I watched this Afterburner 2 more times, then grabbed my kids (18 and 20) and they watched it. My wife's already in the camp, so no need there. My kids are, without a doubt, energized and frankly waaaay ticked off at taxation without benefit for the greater good, only the good of the SEIU and union pensions. They get it. Thanks PJ and to you Bill. Keep it up.
